with the domestic flight from Antananarivo scheduled in the morning.

60 km about 1 hour and a half of asphalt road
Breakfast and departure at 6:30 am to reach the Marojejy National Park which is 60km from Sambava on the road to Andapa. Marojejy is described both as the most important massif of the island for its grandiose appearance, its floristic richness and especially for its intact condition on almost its entire surface. Arrival at the park entrance at 08:00. Start of trekking with picnic lunch during the route. Arrival at Camp Mantella in the afternoon, possibility to visit the Humbert waterfall about 60 meters from the camp.

Park – Sambava: 60 km about 1 hour and a half of asphalt road
Sambava – Estate: 45 km approximately 30 minutes by road
Breakfast and departure at 7:00 am for the visit of the park of Marojejy in search of the propithèque Serico or the Silky Sifaka or Simpona, propithecus diadema candidus, the spectacular serum propithèque that is endemic to the region and all these species that are the pride of Marojejy. Return to the camp for lunch and exit the park in the afternoon. Drive to the park entrance. Return to Sambava. Continue to Ambohimanitra camp, located 45km from Sambava and 35km from Antalaha.

Morning visit of the unique plantation. We discover a rich collection of vanilla varieties.
The guided tour of the plantation will lead us to unveil this mysterious spice through the various demonstrations and production techniques.
Lunch with a tasting of this intoxicating spice of vanilla.
In the afternoon, departure by car 10 minutes from the field to the beautiful private beach.

Domain – Sambava – start of descent: 65 km about 1 hour of asphalt road
Breakfast, departure at 7:30 am for a new adventure and beautiful day trip.
Canoeing down the Bemarivo River located 17 km north of Sambava: this excursion allows you to have a glimpse of the grandiose landscapes while letting you rock by the rhythm of the water. Experience the daily life of the residents and stroll through the traditional vanilla and coffee plantations. After a lunch picnic along an inlet, you will walk along a coconut plantation to the heart of Sambava.
Return to Sambava around 4 pm.

Breakfast and visit the World Heritage-listed Ankarana National Park. The park covers an area of 18,000 hectares. It has a set of caves, underground rivers, canyons, «Tsingy», dry and green forests, about 100 km from the city of Antsiranana (Diego Suarez). Its caves served as a refuge and necropolis for the Antakarana people, during the tribal war with King Radama I, in the nineteenth century, and have now become natural sanctuaries of ancestral beliefs. The Ankarana massif is the second place in Madagascar, after the Bemaraha reserve (north of Morondava), where you can admire the «Tsingy», karst formations with an amazing vision, hundreds of spires and limestone peaks projected towards the sky. In addition to these natural cathedrals, groundwater erosion has caused more than a hundred caves, where the kings and the Antakarana population, the ethnic group of this northern region, took refuge during the inter-ethnic tribal conflict. In some of them still rest the royal tombs, and the massif is still the subject of many ceremonies and «fady» (taboo). The park is located in a pleasant area and has a very particular and endemic flora and fauna. It should be borne in mind that for the ethnic group of Antekarana, these places are considered strictly sacred, where local and fady traditions will always have to be respected. Lunch picnic.
After the visit, transfer to Ambilobe.

Ambilobe – Ankify about 110 km and 3 hours of dirt road
Ankify – Nosy Be Crossing about 45 minutes by boat.

Breakfast and we will continue on the road to Ankify, crossing a beautiful landscape of cocoa plantations, coffee and Ylang-ylang.

Stop for the visit of the MILLOT plantations that will allow us to have an idea of what we can see in the discovery of the process of transformation of cocoa beans in the laboratory. On this former colonial plantation, you can discover the secrets of the preparation of the largest cacaos, a 100% natural and 100% organic world. The plantation was created by the settler Lucien Millot, for more than a century and maintains the centuries-old tradition of a rare “know-how” and appreciated by the largest chocolate factories in the world. Visit workshops for the manufacture of essential oils and discovery of many fragrant plants; we will see the birth and transformation of the best essences of perfume such as: ylang-ylang, vetiver, basil, rose berries, patchouli, pepper
Lunch at the restaurant at Madou always on site.
Continuation to the port of Ankify to take boat to the port Hell-Ville of Nosy Be.
